I had my spoon in my hand as he pulled the plate away! I made it clear I wasn't done. The service the first night there (second night of the cruise) was abysmal, culminating in the waiter trying to remove my dessert while I was in the middle of eating it. I thought the pasta salad was pretty good. We visited the Cafe 270 for lunch a couple of times.

In hindsight, I wish we'd tried it for dinner at least once. Lunch in the Windjammer was consistently the best meal, which surprised me. I particularly liked the harvest breakfast bowl, and my partner enjoyed the breakfast burrito. We also had breakfast in the MDR three times. It's a smaller buffet, but you can get most of the same items as are available in the Windjammer, including custom omelettes. My partner and I also checked out the Solarium Bistro for breakfast. I did breakfast in the Windjammer most mornings, and found it to be quite good. It was a wonderful place to watch sunrise on our way out and sunset on the two days coming back. I had coffee on the balcony one morning, and we sat out there with drinks a couple of evenings. It was well laid out, we had ample room for our things, and the balcony was more spacious than expected. We were in a balcony cabin on deck 8, forward, port. Sharing some thoughts, in case it's helpful to anyone planning to sail on this ship.
